Ex-members of Radio Reelers, Swingin’ Utters, Western Addiction and Dead Ringers start a new band in 2009 in San Francisco, CA. After complaining for months about how hard it was to think of a new band name, they call themselves the Complaints and self-release their debut 7″ called “Wanna Be Bored”, which coincidentally contains their first 4 songs. Shows are played, more songs are written, Southern California is horrified, and the Complaints self-release another 7″ in 2011 called “Falling Down”, featuring lead guitarist Daniel Kelley’s broken face (and 2 of his hit songs). Which brings us to the present day, where the 4th 7″ EP is recorded and ready for Modern Action Records to take hold and propel the Complaints to regional semi-stardom (or something). Shows to be played…
